PREPARATION :Serves : 4 Preparation of Pepper Sambar without Dal. Step 1 : Boil the vegetables of your choice (beans, pumpkin, carrot etc) with 1 Tomato until soft and tender. Step 2 : Take a handful of the boiled vegetables, add 2 tablespoons of coconut and 2 tablespoons of sambar powder. Blend it into a fine paste. Step 3 : Add the prepared paste to the boiling vegetables. Step 4 : Stir in a pinch of turmeric and 2 tablespoons of tamarind paste. Let it cook for 5-10 minutes. Step 5 : Heat some oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, curry leaves, and a pinch of asafetida. Pour the tempering into the sambar and mix well.
